Gas Main Break New Hampshire And Ridge

NOTICE: (Updates in extended article) Please note, there has been a gas-main break at New Hampshire & Ridge, apparently in the result of construction, and is closed to traffic. TLS spoke with Officer Peter Vogel at the scene who said it may be up to 8 hours until drivers will regain access to the area. The following streets are closed leading to the above intersection: From Ridge and Shemen (Red Oaks), From Route 88 and New Hampshire (limited access to residents), and Ridge and Countyline.  Please note: Although Brook Road & Ridge, and Route 88 & New Hampshire are not blocked off by police, do not attempt to head up those roads as you will be made to turn around (Unless you’re headed to one of the accessible developments). We will keep you informed when the streets are reopened.
U/D 1:13 p.m. Ridge Avenue has been reopened. However, New Hampshire remains closed.
