LCSW Assist PD In Arrest

Nov 21 2009 11:44 pm

LCSW LPD logo_wmJUST IN: A vigilant LCSW member just helped take another potentially dangerous man off the streets a short time ago. The member on patrol, noticed a black SUV looking suspicious and decided to follow it from a distance, just to keep an eye on it. The member called PD when he noticed the vehicle entering a private property. Michael Mooney Jr. responded. As he arrived, a tall black male exited the Trailblazer and was not cooperating with the Officer’s orders. At that point, Officer Mooney called for back-up. Several PD units arrived and searched the man and his vehicle. Police found a gun and a large amount of cash on him. He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

Regardless if this guy was clean or not, he could of easily been a different guy who isnt clean, we at least see now that the guys from lcsw are very alert and vigilant and keep an eye out for us.

Thanks guys for all that you do for this town, keep it up!!!

he was sitting in his car on private property with his engine on looking around he looked really suspicious and when he was approached he was on the defensive (he told to member to mind his own business) so he called the cops when they talked to him he made a scene

Trust me #6 is not buff 1 or 2 he is just another member of lcsw patting himself on the back.

Another reason why NOT to take the law into your own hands, if you see something suspicious call THE POLICE, 732-363-0200 first. LCSW does an excellent job acting as extra eyes for the community. Well done by all involved. Go Mids…………Lt

obviously they dont take matters into their own hands if they are in touch with pd when they c something. also dont u think that these guys are a bit more knowledgable then us as to what seems suspicious or not.
