Forecasters Expect Wet Start, Then Heavy Snow As Nor’easter Hits N.J.

Feb 09 2010 8:28 am

nj-snow-storm-blizzard-mapjpg-4ee82c6e445625de_largeMore snow bearing down on New Jersey threatens to snarl travel and stretch the patience of residents who are still digging out from the weekend’s major storm. Forecasters said today the nor’easter will develop off the North Carolina coast and intensify into a burst of snow around the Garden State Wednesday. Winds will cause blowing and drifting snow greater than the weekend storm. The National Weather Service said the storm may start as mixed precipitation in extreme southeastern New Jersey late this afternoon. It could change to rain along the coast Wednesday morning before becoming all snow.

There could be 4 to 8 inches during Wednesday morning’s commute before a second burst brings more snow during Wednesday afternoon.

Forecasters said accumulations are expected to range from 10 to 18 inches.

Forecasters said the snow will end by midnight. AP

Yup, the icecaps are melting, the oceans are rising, and average global temps are steadily going up, but global warming is disproven by 3 snow storms in February

I like snow when it’s falling and when it blankets everything with its pristeen whiteness, BUT, I don’t like feeling sore after shoveling for a few hours. Still, I am looking forward to the next round. Hope I won’t be as achy as last time, after I dig out. (I DO have to go to work)

Actually, the global warmists spin this around and explain that since there is more heat trapped in the atmosphere that makes for more moisture, hence the more precipitation there is in any season. So these storms are a result of their mishugena global shnoring theories, I mean “warming”, not “shnoring”. DId I write shnoring?

I guess the reason we are getting snow so much snow (acc to Yated – Reader’s Write) is because everyone is wearing heavy winter coats, etc.
