Know Of A Pothole Around Town?
Over the last few days, we have received many complaints from readers regarding the many potholes in Lakewood’s roads. As earlier reported on TLS, the harsh winter is to blame for much of the deteriorating in the roads. We decided to try and compile a list of roads which are in desperate need of repair and to submit the list to the appropriate parties, either State, County or Township. List the road name-and if possible an address of where the pothole is located. If you would like to send in a photo, you can do so to thelakewoodscoop@gmail.com with the subject ‘Pothole’.

Rt. 88 from after the tracks until Rockeffeller Park is disastrous

Rt. 88 is terrible. I live in Lakeview (across from the park), and getting to New Hampshire kills my tires.
Finchley street. The pothole is so big my whole car felt like i was floating in a lake. PLEASE fix.

coming down ridge right before 7th. i think i left half my car in the pothole, so the next guy should look out!

on new central, going towards westgate, a little bit before westgate entrance-HUGE pothole, literally thought my car would break from it
Yup, I busted my tire and damaged my rim on Finchley between the 9 and Princewood

Along the whole East End Avenue and along Park Avenue. They were repaired yesterday and it was all washed away and they are just bigger then before.
Rt 88 between the tracks and new hampshire is terrible! Also, private way in bmg parking lot is crazy bad.
Between Gudz and Hillside Blvd. on New Central Ave., there are three major potholes. I got a neck sprain going through one around a corner there, and if it’s not fixed soon, I will sue!!
Hope road between Hope Hill and South Lke

Corner of Williams and James; its more like a sinkhole – I have actually seen them pull a car that was there since the early 80′s.

There’s a huge one I always hit on Rt. 9 right before James going south.

Finchley Street is terrible huge pothole and driving on rt 9 from 2nd till count line on the right lane is bad
Chestnut st/Cross st is disastrous!!!!! Please fix ASAP!!
1)County line Rd. Between ridge & brook rd. Has a few potholes through that stretch.
2) Tuscany terrace has a few throughout the street

i Reported the tracks and e county line a month ago and they didnt do a thing. also the whole stretch on e county line after squankum till lanes mill needs to be repaved especially after brook till ridge
