FIRST REPORT: 10:50 p.m.The youngest of the three Bachurim imprisoned in Japan, Yossi B, will be released to Israel within the next few hours, Askonim from Lakewood involved in the case told TLS. Friends of Yossi’s family confirmed the news to one of the involved Lakewood Askonim. Yossi will serve the remaining 2 years of his 5 year sentence in Israel.

I think that israel should negotiate the terms of the sentence. Slipping them through the back door would have a bad effect on future negotiations with other inmates.
