Gas Prices Are On The Rise Just In Time For The Warmer Weather And Summer-Time Road Trips.
As the weather grows warmer, motorists are likely to see higher prices at the pump, according to The Associated Press. Many analysts believe average retail gasoline prices will top $3 per gallon this spring. Prices have climbed 9.2 cents in the last month and are now 80.6 cents higher than levels of a year ago. The jump in retail prices comes after wholesale gasoline prices rose. An 18 percent increase in oil prices that pushed crude near a 2010 high of $83.95 per barrel also contributed to the higher gas prices. Star Ledger
