reb elya baruch zatzal(VIDEO link & PHOTOS in extended article) In honor of the second Yohrtzeit of the beloved father, mentor and Rebbe Reb Elya Baruch Finkel Zatzal, from the MIR Yerushalayim, Talmidim will be holding a Yohrtzeit Seudah in conjunction with a Siyum on Shas, L’illui Nishmas Reb Elya Baruch Ben Reb Moishe Finkel Zatzal. Speakers will include, Hagaon Reb Shmuel Aurbach Shlita, Reb Yosef Eichnstien Shlita (Rosh Yeshivah Rabeinu Yaakov Yosef of Edison), Reb Yechiel Spiro Shlita from Baltimore and Reb Lazer Yudel Finkel Shlitah, son of Reb Elya Baruch Zatzal. The event will be taking place next Tuesday, March 9th at Esther Gerber Hall (6th and Madison Avenue) at 7:30 p.m., followed by a Hot Buffet.

tzion_r'_elya_baruch_Zatzal_wmThe word of ’Rebbee’s’ passing shocked thousands around the globe, after he suffered a massive Heart Attack shortly after returning from Yeshivah. He was 60 years old. May he be a Meilitz Yosher for his family, Talmidim and all of Klal Yisroel.

Also at the event, will be the launching of the ‘Mechon’ which will be releasing the approximately 75,000 Ksovim written by Reb Elya Baruch Zatzal. The first Sefer on Kedushin is expected to be released for the next Z’man.

May he be a Meilitz Yosher for us all. He was a Groisse Yid with a Reezigge Hartz.
“Father AND Mentor AND Rebbe” – very appropriate indeed.

I don’t think such an institution exists. A look at the postcard link confirms that it says “may-ir baltimore” or “from the city of baltimore”.
