Who packed your lunch today? That’s what officials at the Spruce Street school are trying to figure out after a teacher found beer in a child’s water bottle today. Police were called as alcohol beverages are apparently not permitted on school property. Upon arrival of police however, the school’s superintendent and principal said they would handle the situation. TLS-CCC.

Of course the police should be called..not to mention DYFS. It’s called neglect and it needs to be taken seriously.

I am amazed that 7 of the 8 comments that I’ve read about this incident think that this is either funny or shouldn’t be dealt with as a serious issue.
Children drinking is no joke. A kid who smuggles alcohol into school likely has a real problem. A parent who allows it most assuredly does.
Taking a sip of daddy’s beer at home, or mommy’s wine is one thing, but this is the kind of situation that does not need one liners and a cavalier attitude.
I guess since it’s not an everyday story so people trying to laugh it off . The student must be a trouble maker cuz why would the teacher question the contents of the bottle ?

I can’t believe that some people find this story funny. We are talking about children no older than 12 bringing beer to school. What is happening to this country!!
