Baruch Dayan Ha’emes: [UPDATED] We regret to inform you of the passing of R’ Shmuel Feiner Z’L – father of R’ Usher Feiner – who was Niftar today. Hatzolah resuscitated him after he was was found in Cardiac Arrest early this morning, but was Niftar about 5 hours later at the Hospital.
R’ Shmuel Z’L, 95, was recently staying with his son R’ Usher.
R’ Shmuel Z’L has several children. Three children reside in Lakewood, including R’ Usher, a daughter who was married to R’ Shia Assaf Z’L, and another son-in-law, the Rav of Whispering Pines, R’ Meir Reuven Berkowitz Shlita.
His other children are R’ Moshe who resides in Monsey, R’ Yaakov in Boro Park, as well as a daughter in Flatbush.
He had a son R’ Dovid Z’L who passed away a few years ago.

UPDATE: The Levaya will be taking place at the BMG Yeshivah at 2:15 p.m., after which the Aron will be flown to Eretz Yisroel for Kevurah on Har Hamenuches.
His daugther’s Son is Dovid Assaf; her husband (don’t know his name), was niftar several years ago.
His son in law was the esteemed Dayan Reb Shia Assaf. R’ Dovid Assaf is his grandson!

Harav Hagaon Shmuel Feiner was a universal tzaddik. He learnt 14 hours a day. Everyone respected him. His son, R Ushy had kibud av like in the alta heim. Mashiach should come.
