Lakewood To Apply For Federal Aid Following State Of Emergency

lakewood_clock_storm_2010_tlsTownship officials confirmed to TLS this afternoon that Lakewood will be applying for Federal Aid following the recent storm. Similar to the Governor’s application for NJ, the township will be applying to The Federal Emergency Management Agency for its own assistance, in hopes of receiving aid to help offset the cleanup cost for Lakewood.

Officials said, that towns which declared a State of Emergency, are eligible to apply for the financial assistance, in which case Lakewood qualifies. TLS.
