Driver Arrested After Running From Cops On Traffic Stop, Dumps Drugs On The Way

Jan 26 2012 8:04 pm

A driver was arrested this evening after leading cops on a foot pursuit and trying to dump drugs on the way, sources tell TLS. At about 6:45 PM, Police attempted to stop the driver on Ronald Road, when the driver got out of his vehicle with a package, and took off on foot.

The cop gave chase and noticed the man throw a package as he ran, sources say.

After a short foot-pursuit, the driver was caught and arrested.

Several other officers responded to the scene, and the package – containing drugs - was located. TLS-CCP/TLS-MK/TLS-LS.

TLS you should at least put a caption under the picture that says “file photo” or somthing like that. That pic is from the daytime about a year ago. Thanks

There are no homes on Ronald Road that look like the ones in the picture. Ronald Road homes have, at most, 3 bedrooms.

This picture is from story about a year ago when cops were called to a burglary in progress on 12th Street between Princeton & Monmouth Avenues. Cops gave chase and apprehended the individual in a back yard.

The picture is a picture from an OLD story. Please don’t use pics from other stories as its misleading.

    A. The pic is in a frum development and the subject story was across Rt 70.

    B. the story happened at 6:45PM and it was dark out side.

    Thank you,

Please note: This is a file photo of a foot pursuit.

When we use photos of a current story, we usually write ‘PHOTO’ next to the picture.

    Thank you.

Am I banned from making comments here? I didn’t say anything against anyone anywhere. I simply said Good Job to the LWPD and people shouldn’t focus on the photo but on the story.
