EXCLUSIVE: Mayor Menashe Miller has joined the Governor on his trip to Israel, the Mayor confirmed to TLS from overseas. “As the Mayor of the Township with the largest Jewish population in the State, I’m truly honored to have been invited by the Governor, along with my colleague Senator Singer and others, on his trip to Israel”, Mayor Miller told TLS.
The Mayor joins Senator Singer, as well as Josh Pruzansky and others on what is the Governor’s first trip out of the Country as Governor.
All airfare and expenses were to be paid for by the participants, and no tax dollars were used for the trip.
The group will be returning later this week. TLS.

Its a shame….that they had to shlep out to Newark…..We need our own International Airport!!!
Its all about networking. By getting to better know the Governor in an intimate setting of this Eretz Yisroel trip it can only enhance Lakewood’s relationship with the Governor.
Let’s face it, whenever someone has an issue we call upon our local elected officials to help us.

I would like to have been asked, I guess others are not important, I went for a visit on my own dime and it is a beautiful place with so much Bible background, why not invite some other groups?
