BP Gas Provider Asks Those Affected To Contact Them

Dominick R. Clarizio of Gill Energy – the provider of the BP gas which was allegedly contaminated, tells a TLS reader who was affected, that all those affected should retain a sample of the contaminated gas as proof. Clarizio says they will then be able to determine if it’s their gas in fact which is causing the recent mechanical issues in many Lakewood vehicles.

Additionally, all those affected should keep their receipts of all repairs rendered.

Clarizio says he would like to deal with each person on an individual basis so they should please call or email.

  1. Sure, it’s much easier to harass the victim individually. Don’t fall for this! All victims should team up, and deal with BP headquarters. Asking for the gas is a cheap way to fight back. The fact that multiple victims filled up in same few days, and had the same issues, should be enough proof.

  2. Did you speak to Mr. Clarizio?

    He will be glad to reimburse all those affected. He’s asking that you retain a sample so that A) they know it wasn’t just a mechanical error that caused damage to your vehicle & B) in a case where you do not have a receipt, they can determine that it was in fact their gas & reimburse you for all services rendered.

  3. Gas does not have DNA. How will they know if it their gas, especially if it was mixed into a customers tank which may have have a half talk from a different distributor. The case will be alot stronger fignting as a union rather then on an individual basis.

  4. My van was broke and I spoke with BP who gave me a claim number. I spoke with the state who informed me that Ocean County Weights and measures is taking a lead in the investigation. The Gentleman to speak to is Barry Wick 732 929 2166. Barry was very helpful sent me an application and informed me that in the past (similar situations) they were able to recover for damaged vehicles.

    Accordingly, I see no upside in dealing with Mr. Clarizio over BP corporate and the Ocean county weights and measures division. Our argument is strengthen my the amount of claims that are submitted to BP and the County. What do you gain by turning a sample of the gas over to Mr. Clarizio?

  5. call the ocean county office or state office for wieght & measurments.

    I posted the number on the original article.

  6. If your gas tank was flushed, there is no greater evidence. Just make sure you have your receipt & report from the Mechanic & you’ll be reimbursed.

  7. Text of my email from Mr. Clarizio;

    I am truly sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your car. We think our customers are our best asset, and we certainly will reimburse you for costs directly due to a problem we caused.
    After you have your car repaired, please submit a claim to us for the repairs if they are due to gasoline contamination. You will need a copy of the gasoline invoice as well, the one dated -/-/—- to prove that you purchased gasoline at our BP site. . After we receive your claim, we will promptly forward it to our insurance company for processing.
    Feel free to call me if you have any questions.
