Police are investigating several burglaries which occurred over Shabbos while the owners slept. Neighbors say the burglar entered through unlocked basement and playroom windows to gain access to the homes and none were by forced entry.
Cash was stolen from the homes.

Just curious……were the doors left unlocked? Or were they picked?
Let’s remember that although it is not too bright to leave your windows and doors unlocked these days, it is NOT ok for people to be coming in anyway! You are supposed to be able to sleep at night without people jumping through your windows. The way things are going it might only stop when an intruder leaves the premises in a lot different shape than when he broke in.

Where we’re the cops @ when all of this was going on SLEEPING !!! This is 3 weeks in a row that this happens. Lakewood pd stop sleeping and patrol the area…
I’m thinking if hiding in an unlocked garage then brake his bones any1 want to join me ?
Stop the break-ins by locking you windows and doors. The police can’t be in just your neighborhoods over the week-ends,other people need them also.

They don’t have esp and if the home owners slept through the whole thing why would you think that the cops should have known when and where these burglaries were taking place? You expect a lot from the Lkwd P.D and it seems you like to do nothing more than complain. Your comment is very annoying as I’m sure you are too.

– where was your LCSW??? why do you think LPD is only dedicated to your neighborhoods? sorry but officers are tied up with the extremely high rates of motor vehicle accidents & pedestrians walking out into traffic, DWI’s, drugs, gangs, etc. officers are also tied up patrolling neighborhoods with higher crime than the ones reported on this site.
IF YOU WANT TO ‘GET ON’ SOMEONE, GET ON THE SLUM-LORDS WHO INVITED ALL THE CRIMINALS INTO THIS TOWN TO BE WALKING DISTANCE AWAY FROM THEIR NEXT VICTIM. (but you wont say a word. you wont say a word to your friends/family/neighbors/etc because you to big of a coward!)
