PHOTO: The Bobov Kehilla in Lakewood held a meeting Thursday night to plan ahead of next month’s historic event celebrating the completion of their new Shul, together with their Rebbe.
At the meeting held at the new Kennedy Boulevard Shul – ‘Tzloseh D’Shloime’, plans were discussed as the Kehilla prepares to welcome the Rebbe along with over 1,000 Bobover Chassidim from New York being for the Chanukas Habayis and Hachnosas Sefer Torah, marking a historic milestone for the Chassidus.
The event will also be the first event out of New York attended by the Rebbe, Reb Bentzion Helberstam, a Bobov Chassid tells TLS.
The event will be marked with a Hachnosas Sefer Torah at the new Shul, followed by a Seudah at Bais Faiga.
wasn’t the rebbe present at the hachnosos sefer torah by Vishnitz-Rabbi Rubin’s shul a few years ago??!!

#1- That was probably the other Bobover rebbe.
#2- If you were really a Bobover you would know who it’s named after!

I believe R’ Naftulche attended R’Mordche Rubin’s shul.
Also, R’ Benzion showed up in Lakewood when R Mordche Rubin made a hachnosas sefer torah about 5 years ago at the Vizhnitza Bais Medrash..
Obviously they meant it will be the first time he’s attending a bobover kehilla function.
I hope the event doesn’t interfere with our walking up squankum for our morning cup of joe.
