PHOTOS & VIDEO: Cantor Lemmer And The Mezamrim At The Inaugural RCCS Lakewood Dinner

[VIDEO OF CHAZZAN YAAKOV LEMMER & MEZAMRIM CHOIR] Over 1,000 people turned out for this evening’s RCCS Dinner – the inaugural RCCS Dinner in Lakewood.The event, which took place at Bais Faiga, was highlighted by a speech by Dayan Ahron Dovid Dunner – who made the trip from London in honor of the Dinner.

Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society provides numerous services for cancer patients worldwide, with approximately 87 patients in Lakewood. Their annual global budget is approximately $5 Million.

In the past 18 months, RCCS spent over $700,000 just on Lakewood patients, RCCS says.

  1. 1,000? I was there, and there were easily 2,000, maybe more, during Dayan Dunner’s speech. The house was packed! What an inspiring dinner. Mi K’Amecha Yisrael.

  2. This was a beautiful event, the tehilim was earhtshattering and the speeches were heartfelt. What an unbelievable Moisad, we should never need to use them.

  3. There were way more than 1,000 people there. It was a huge kiddush hashem to watch all types of people come together to daven andgive chizzuk to all the cholim.

Dayan Dunner’s speech was out of this world,! -the story about the 2 girls who lost their mother was the cherry on top -If u missed it get some 1 to tell it to u! boy what chuizuk it gave us all ! (And I love the way he got the oilom to sit,listen & STOP eating only if you’re from over the pond & speak the Queens English can U pull that off!)

  5. an incredible organization. My father was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks after he lost his insurance. They helped him cover the $600 monthly premium to get it back on. Because of that, he was able to get over $500,000 worth of medical care and he is now in remission. If that is not a great return on investment, I dont know what it. Open your checkbooks and give give give!
