PHOTOS & VIDEO [UPDATED] Congressman Chris Smith was the guest speaker at the Republican Club of Lakewood meeting yesterday evening. Smith’s visit comes after visits from the Freeholders Bartlett and Little and Sheriff Polhemus – all running for re-election next month.
Running for his 17th term as a Congressman, Smith spoke about Foreign Affairs issues involving Iran and China, as well as Human Right issues – and particularly the current case of Jacob Ostreicher, falsely imprisoned in Bolivia. Smith says pleas to Hillary Clinton and to President Obama, were ignored.
Also in attendance at the meeting, were Senator Robert Singer, Mayor Menashe Miller and other Township Officials.
Chris Smith has lobbied to free Ostreicher and even went to visithim in jail
A Republican won’t get a Democrat administration to change their minds and get involved directly with Bolivia. That is why it is time to vote Democratic for Congress this time around.
That is why it is time to vote Republican for President.
