Homeless Man Arrested After Robbing Man At Gunpoint

A homeless man was arrested last night after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint, police say. Shortly before 8 PM, police responded to the area of Cedarbridge Avenue and the tracks where a Hispanic male said he was robbed at gunpoint by a black male.

The victim told police he was lured to the tracks by the suspect who offered him to drink with him at his place, and when the victim pulled out his wallet to pay him, the suspect allegedly assalted him, grabbed his wallet and then pulled a gun on him. The victim said the wallet contained $2,000 in cash.

The suspect was reportedly identified by the victim as a homeless man who resides in a tent between Cedarbridge Avenue and Route 88.

At about 11:30 PM, Officer Nate Reyes patrolling the NJ Transit station came upon a man who matched the description of the suspect, and consequently took him into custody.

The suspect was charged with Robbery and Possession of a handgun, and taken to the Ocean County Jail. TLS-46/TLS-60/TLS-50/TLS-CCP.

I applaud the poor homeless man (of the 99%) for standing up for himself against the greedy victim (of the 1%) who was so rich that he was carrying $2,000 cash in his wallet.

These rich people are stealing from the rest of us 99%’ers, they are the cause of all the misery in the world. In fact, they work for their money, and we don’t, so that means they are just terrible, and we have an obligation to forcibly take that money away from them, and give it to ourselves. Either we do it by electing Democrats who will steal all the money from the rich, or we can take a lesson from this homeless man and take it by gunpoint.

Kudos to the homeless man for standing up for the rest of us.

  • wow says:

and how can a homeless person afford a gun unless it was stolen as well!

  • Daf Guy says:

    What’s the big deal?

Isn’t this transfer of money basically the same idea behind Obama’s policy of Redistribution??

  • Thinker says:

#2 no need for the reverse physiology.

    Either way- thank you LPD.

  • CJ says:

Hey YID, you are a complete fool, its people like you that make the world like it is today. The “top 1%” don’t walk around lakewood, they don’t live any where near lakewood. It was someone from the “99%” that got robbed. (moderated)

Man walking down the street with 2 grand in his wallet comes across homeless man who offers him a drink. If you have that much money on you why are you drinking with the homeless? Also did the suspect have the money on him when he was arrested. Sounds like someone added a couple extra zeros on the amount that was stolen.

Hey Yid/#2, you are just plain STUPID. What you wrote shouldnt have been posted, but I guess its freedon of speech, so stupid people are always running off at the mouth.

  • Brian says:

What is the problem? One fewer homeless man, one gun out of a criminal’s hands. Good job Yid, giving an argument that sounded so much like the libs that some people thought you were serious.

  • Yid says:

OMG people thought I was serious. I was trying to point out how libs think…… forget it. I won’t bother. I’m too busy working very hard to support my family, and to pay my taxes so that the Dems can take my taxes and give it to those who don’t work.

The victim was a hard working guy who just got payed and is illegal do they can’t use a bank.

  • sherry says:

A homeless….did u read how the article starts….A homeless….not a homeless man or woman…but a homeless….personally I think that’s just as awful as a guy going to drink with a stranger down by the railroad tracks and the homeless man robbing the guy who went with him.

  • Ms Candy Kane says:

I know I commonly walk the street carrying 2,000 and without question follow a stranger down the tracks just to have a drink There’s more to the story. Could it have been an illegal transaction that went wrong?

  • Mr. Conservative says:

hey YID, i love your sarcasm! ;)
that was a great example of the mentality now a days “steal from the rich/working class – to redistribute to the poor/non-working”.

(i cant believe the drones on here couldn’t see your sarcasm/stab at democrats!)

  • Mr. Conservative says:

#15 stated: “The victim was a hard working guy who just got payed and is illegal do they can’t use a bank.”

    FACT CHECK: FALSE

TRUTH: Bank of America was very adamant about recruiting non us citizens and illegal immigrants into opening accounts. Bank of America accepts the Matricula Consular Card and therefore they do help illegal aliens. FURTHERMORE, they actually allowed the illegals to open credit card accounts. THIS WAS NATIONAL NEWS – DO YOU LIVE UNDER A ROCK?

Banks that allow illegals to bank:
Wachovia, PNC Bank, Washington Mutual, PNC Bank, JPMorgan Chase, HSBC (HSBC Holding), and plenty others!

  • ! says:

    don’t drink and talk!

  • Anonymous says:
