LPD & O.C. Prosecutors Office Hand Out Fliers To Drivers As Aggressive Search For Hit-And-Run Driver Continues
PHOTOS: The Lakewood Police Department’s Traffic & Safety Division in conjunction with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office this evening are aggressively continuing their search for the hit-and-run driver which left a 17 year old girl in critical condition.
Beginning at about 5:30 PM, the Law Enforcement officials stood on Kennedy Boulevard and handed a flyer to each passing motorist with the suspect’s vehicle information and the accident information, in hopes that someone out there will bring the driver to justice.
Police are searching for a light colored 2006-2007 Jeep Liberty with a tire on the back, which should have passenger side and front corner damage as a result of the accident.

Good. This agressive police work is the way to go. With the type of vehicle and damage known, SOMEONE will see something and say something. They will catch this man and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law (which sadly, in this state , if probably 10 hours of community service and license suspension for 6 months)
