Lyrics by Sara Gross.

A kesuba is read aloud
With promises and hope endowed
But where to turn after marriage he yearns, where to go,
What’s a man to do?

A business fails and all is lost,
Pain is raw, self-worth’s the cost
Strife at home, he feels alone, where to go?
What’s a man to do?

Klal Yisroel will join together as one,
We’ll succeed as one community
With one mind, we’ll conquer our goals,
לכו והתפרנסו זה מזה

Vision, we can change the world
We stand as one, divided we fall
B’Achdus working hand in hand
The time has now come for action
Take a stand

I go to work from six to eight,
There’s only so much I can take,
Can’t pay the bills, without life’s frills,
I need help, where’s a man to turn?

In need of contracts and cash flow,
Losing clients, growth is slow,
Tuition to pay, there is no way,
Where to turn? What’s a man to do?

Klal Yisroel will join together as one,
We’ll succeed as one community
With one mind, we’ll conquer our goals,
לכו והתפרנסו זה מזה

Vision, we can change the world
We stand as one, divided we fall
B’Achdus working hand in hand
The time has now come for action
Take a stand

I used to be the talk of the town,
In my Lexus I would drive around,
But times have changed, funds rearranged,
Where to turn, what’s a man to do?

Wiping the tears away,
Watching my childs face
A solution we need,to solve this crime
this is not, life in my prime!!

Klal Yisroel will join together as one,
We’ll succeed as one community
With one mind, we’ll conquer our goals,
לכו והתפרנסו זה מזה

Vision, we can change the world
We stand as one, divided we fall
B’Achdus working hand in hand
The time has come for action
Take a stand
Take a stand

  1. the song starts off to the general theme of men out of kollel with no idea what to do and then seems to transition into a story of a person who lost his past wealth . A nice song but a bit foncusing

  2. Wow. The tears are streaming down my cheeks. Sara Gross lyrics & Shea Rubenstein singing, are so moving; I’m Mamesh crying. Its so sad the ppl who ask ” where to turn, What’s a man to do”? Thanx, R’ Duvy for answering the call and giving people a place to turn. Hatzlochah rabbah. Sniff, sniff. & thanx TLS for bringing the proper attention this event so desperately needs. Sniff. Sniff. DB. Sniff.

  3. This expo is all about helping us all grow, as a whole and individually- all of us from every tier of life and financial status.
    Great job on the song.

  4. Alot of the questions are answered if you read the information.
Last years Expo was mainly jobs.
This year’s expo is to help businesses network and help all us frum businesses put ourselves out there and show other businesses within the community that we exist and can offer services for them.
They also are going to help people find jobs and all the stuff they did last year and they say that people can also see different communities to relocate to for Parnassah as well.
Looks like most the grounds are covered.
I really hope that everyone shows support and comes. This has the potential to really be a huge network for klal yisrael especially to connect the ones that dont have internet and are missing resources.

  5. By the way R’ Shea and R’ Duvi – the song is really very touching and I think you are doing great things. You should be matzliach and klal yisrael stands behind you on this!
