  1. Interesting…I walked out of my apartment a few minutes ago and on a clear night I saw one large “cloud” – it looked more like a plume of smoke but I was unsure…I didn’t smell fire….but you have confirmed my assumption…glad to hear everyone is out…sorry they just lost their home and memories.

  2. I was just there and this was a big fire, Glen Ave is off of Central Ave, The have one road block off if you go one block past you can park and walk to the area. so glad to hear everyone is safe.

  3. Is it Glen? North? South? East? West? Lakewood?Hanukah candles? Christmas lights? Kwansa Menorah?

How about this question everyone failed to ask: HOW CAN WE HELP THIS FAMILY?

  4. A FAST Team (Firefighters Assist Search Team) is a group of specially trained firemen whose sole purpose at a fire is to be ready to assist any firemen who may become trapped inside a burning structure.

  5. What a nisoyon to have one’s beautiful home, memories, belongings disappear in flames. They are a family who gave to others in a very special way – it’s time to reciprocate.

  6. My heart is breaking for this family. Imagine having NOTHING at all of your worldly possessions except what you are wearing. Baruch HaShem they have their lives and those of their family too. How can we help them out?

  7. Thankfully everyone is safe. Another fire in Lakewood, last week or two, claimed a life. Material things can be replace. Still, sorry for their loss.

  8. As a firefighter in lakewood i was working as hard as possible with my brothers to save this familys property! We are very sorry for their loss. That said why oh why are people asking where this fire is and giving each other directions where they can park so you can walk over and watch. it is a real problem when we have a crowd of 5000 peope trying to watch . it was a very tight street and a culdasec to boot. please allow us the room to do our job and do not drive across town just to watch someone lose all of their worldly possessions ! again our hearts go out to this family !!

  9. Well said #28. I don’t understand why anyone would want to look at someone’s sorrow. The same thing with accidents. I always look the other way and give plenty of room for those officials helping. If you’re not there to help – stay away!
