PHOTO: Police and Mayor Welcome New Police Officers

PHOTO: In an unofficial ceremony today, Police Chief Rob Lawson, Deputy Chief Fred Capper and Mayor Albert Akerman welcomed the two new full-time Police Officers to the Lakewood Police Department.

Officers Mathew Muniz, from Carteret, New Jersey and Kristie Buble from the Monmouth County Sheriffs Department, joined the force last week and are currently in in-house training.

The new hires replace the recently retired officers, which included Officer Susan Maanik – the first female officer to retire from the LPD.
