The Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch and Police are looking for a driver who allegedly attempted to lure a child to his car this evening, as reported on our News Alerts. At about 6:30 PM, a Frum 10 year old girl was riding her scooter in the area of 14th Street and Cedar Row Avenue, when a driver called her and asked to come to his vehicle, LCSW tells TLS.
The girl reportedly then dropped her scooter and ran home, LCSW says.
The suspect is described as a white male driving a white van.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Police and LCSW. [TLS-24 A/B-TLS-CCP]

She did the right thing! I always tell my kids adults shouldn’t be asking kids questions they should be asking adults! Especially nowadays when most people have cell phones they don’t need to stop a child.
