3-Vehicle MVA With Overturned Vehicle Sends 3 to Hospital

PHOTO: Three were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle this afternoon, as reported on our News Alerts.

The crash occurred at the intersection o Cedarbridge Avenue and South Clover Street shortly about 6:30 PM.

Multiple EMS and LFA members responded and removed two patients from the overturned vehicle. They were transported to Ocean Medical Center and Jersey Shore Medical Center with Paramedics.

A third patient from another vehicle was also being transported to a local hospital, an official said.

Lakewood’s Traffic & Safety division and CIU are investigating the crash. [TLS-46/TLS-CCP]

Is someone keeping a count on overturned accidents in this town? I think we lead the state in overturns. Whats going on, hope the insurance companies don’t start a surcharge for Lakewood drivers and residents. Wow crazy I guess they really need more police officers on that force, I remember seeing a lot more about 10 years ago, wonder why they are all leaving and not being replaced. I think public safety is definitely at risk.
