A juvenile was apprehend by police today after shooting a BB gun near a school, prompting a brief lockdown at the school, TLS has learned.
A school official called police and LCSW and ordered the school to lock its doors this morning after spotting the juvenile shooting with the gun near the school’s campus – not knowing it was a BB gun.
“BBs were landing in the school yard,” an LCSW member first on scene told TLS.
Sources tell TLS the boy had apparently set up a shooting target just outside the school’s campus, and was also attempting to shoot at birds.
When police arrived, the boy was gone, but was tracked down a short time later and taken to Police Headquarters.
He was released a short time latet and charges are pending, police say. [TLS-CCP/TLS-24]

doesn’t matter what kind of gun. he shouldn’t have been shooting anything, even birds! usually kids who kill animals are disturbed.

who cares what school, the point is kids shouldn’t be having any type of weapon
