some text would be beneficial for ppl that don’t have time to listen to LONG video clips.
lets talk about the railroad
What a (moderated)! $6 million is a drop in the bucket. it will just pay for a new survey not much else. Back in 1993 they were 2 weeks away from starting and the project but it fell through because it was too expensive to purchase the land on each side that was needed. If you listen to what he is saying it is (moderated) nothing said that is firm as to a real plan.
To Yossi: The clip is less than 2 minutes long. If you don’t have that kind of time, it’s hard to believe that you do have the time to read a text version. TLS works hard to obtain clips as such. Additionally, people also appreciate the video clip because it provides exactly what the senator said, as opposed to (mis)quoting him. Not to mention, many people also like to get a glimpse of the personality of those featured in an article.
A journey of a thousand miles, begins with one step.
(9th grade social studies, Mr. Perl)
6 million dollars for a study??? I will do it for free.. this is Govt waste and nothing will come of it.
Go for it!
6 million bucks for WHAT????????? To “start looking at it”. Not bad. I should begin working for the state of NJ.
Most of the road engineering in this town could have been done better by those that actually live here and it wouldn’t have cost millions either.
By the time they get done with the study, there will be another 5000 families living in that area. Let me give you the results of the study! Route Nine south of the lake is just a disaster. Period. No infrastructure. No planning. There should be a study to see who is responsible for the disaster.
Senator Singer rocks.
No 10. Well said!
maybe they could look at the mess that was made at 88 and 9 at the lake. Who ever came up with that merge doesn’t drive in Lakewood.
Thank you, Senator Singer! Progress at last.
totaly agree with number 13. that merge completly caotic. noone knows who is going first and it always ends up blocking the turning lane from cars turning into north lake. in regards to that intersection, if the light is turning red and your going to block the intersection please have the common desincey to wait it blocks up rt 88 and couses havoc by clifton.
