Two were arrested for drugs after a woman yelling from a hotel prompted Lakewood Officers to investigate. Officers Kristie Buble and Michael Del Valle were conducting an area check of the Best Western hotel on Route 70, when the heard a woman yelling from the hotel.

Upon further investigation, they overheard the female, later identified as a 22 year old Jackson resident, talking about distributing prescription pills, police say.

As a result, the officers obtained enough information to arrest the woman as well as a man from Manchester for Possession of approximately 800 various Narcotic pills without a prescription, police say.

Bail was set at $40,000 with no 10% for each of them. Both parties were transported to Ocean County Jail. [TLS]
