Busy night in the wood tonight I can tell you.
yes and they are way understaffed these days…..poor guys run from call to call, while all the important people worry about votes and taxes…..something bads a brewing……..
Well understaffed?? Maybe they should stop chasing dogs around town
I hope this is cleared up and doesn’t go cold.
Yup they are now reactive rather than proactive. Something has to give and we need more police officers. What isit going to take for the people of Lakewood to wake up.
Or maybe thatey shoud CATCH the dog instead of CHASING it!!!
the residents on the RT 70 corridor and Massachusetts ave need to get more involved and get us more officers…..we never see any where we live, just coming and going to calls…..nuts
Maybe if more citizens were armed, crime would go down.
Yid- Crime would not go down if citizens were armed. Are you aware of the countless accidental deaths that have been occurring lately?
I agree 100%, what is it going to take for Lakewood Township to hire more police officers. There are numerous men and women who have passed the Civil Service Exam and are residents of Lakewood Township.
#10 you are so right and there is going to be a class for this August to train the people on the list who actually know our town.
There are plenty of officers, no need for more.
Last time I checked it isn’t the polices job to catch dogs? Don’t we have an animal control or something?
I don’t think it’s the polices job to catch dogs is it? Doesn’t this town have an animal control? Maybe LCSW should worry about the dogs
Need more officers and that would equal faster response time on calls. LPD is way understaffed compared to our surrounding towns with less crime and population.
it is the job of the police to protect this town. no matter what it takes
Why was neither the name nor the location of the motel reported? All area residents/visitors have an interested in knowing incident locations.
