Authorities Investigating Shots Fired into Home

Authorities today are investigating after shots were fired into an occupied home. At about 12:50 a.m. this morning, Officer Delvalle responded to Woodlake Manor to investigate a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, the Officer learned that an unknown suspect had fired approximately 5 shots into an occupied home, says Detective Sergeant Greg Staffordsmith. No one was injured, Staffordsmith says.

Evidence from the scene was recovered, collected and photographed by the Ocean County Criminalistics Investigations Unit.

In April, shots were fired into a home in the same complex.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dsgt. Greg Staffordsmith at 732-363-0200 ext. 5318. [TLS-28. File Photo]

  1. It’s really, really sad. I’m still waiting for the dems to ban illegal shooting – that way, we’ll all be safer because the criminals won’t shoot illegally if it’s banned.
