VIDEO: Traffic on Route 9 could be bad at times – but with a goat running in and out of traffic, things go from bad to worse.
Fire Chief Todd Stark was traveling up Route 9 this afternoon when he came across the young goat which was causing a traffic backup, lots of heads to turn and sudden stops.
An officer and animal control joined the chase – which reportedly ended with animal control and the Fire Chief capturing it near the Sterling Forest neighborhood. [TLS-46/TLS-28/TLS-CCP]
Chief job never ends. always on duty.
I am confused. Isnt Rob Lawson the chief?
you gotta love TLS. If we would of had you guys back in the shtetel life would have been much more interesting.
#2 – Rob Lawson is the Lakewood police chief, Todd Stark is the fire chief.

a dog thats terrorizing the town the cops have ZERO interest in catching but a goat that is harmless they come out full force. makes any sense?????????????
I think this video is going to be played on the five o’clock news.
To #15. The cops have been trying to catch that dog for a while. I actually watched them chase it. They were waiting yesterday morning for it to show up on James street. They are trying, it’s easier to catch a goat (even after it ate green beans) than a fast dog.

i do believe the correct term is 4 out 5 dogs were caught by police and animal control. so since when is a choiawua a terrorizing town.
THe goat was tying up route 9 traffic for crying out loud. Why wouldn’t this be a fob for police?!?!
The article says the Fire Chief was just driving by, no one called the police or Fire Dept. He saw the potential of an accident waiting to happen and didn’t hesitate to call in help. Who knows what could have happened if someone suddenly put on the brakes for a little goat to cross. There could have been a 10-car pileup. B”H that he was there at the right time and the right place.
