Baruch dayan HaEmes.
I used to visit philly often and would see him at rayim ahuvim om shabbos.
He was always very bisimcha.
He was a very special person.
The news I have received through the family is that the first two days of shiva will be at the family home next door to Ra’im Ahuvim. It will then move to Lakwood.
Marvin and Lois, his wife, are good friends and used to be family through marriage. To Lois, Avi, Moshe and all the girls, HaMakom yenachem etchem b’toch shar aveilei Tzion v’Yerushalayim.
There were never any hidden agendas or ulterior motives. Marvin’s life was based on three principles only… learn Torah, teach Torah, and live Torah. Now that Hashem has called him home, he tosses the baton to his five wonderful now adult children – l’dor v’dor – to the next generation. He was a truly devoted family man with a neshama it would be hard to match.
