  1. My husband is extremely paranoid. As a result I who have had a vibrant social life have almost no socializing time any longer. We are married close to a decade. He claims Rabbi A. Miller doesn’t believe in psychologists so he won’t go for help.

  2. I have an older sister who is Mental and never had anything going for her, looks, confidence, etc. I’m newly married a year and change to bh an amazing wife who is 23yrs old, 6 yrs younger then my older sister who is jealous of us,demanding respect from us, because she’s older, is trying to interfere with our marriage by harassing me and my wife with hatred, lies and making up things about us and my wife’s family that were horrible people and we do etc etc.. which are all not true but she is making it to others like its true and people who think she might be normal because she can give off that impression that she is, take her seriously. This is bothering us by giving us a bad name, interfering with our marriage and getting to my wife’s head which is not fair to us! How do we deal with my mental older sister pls!? btw i tried to sit down with her to hear her out, but it only made things worse and causing us more grief! Thx for answering!

  3. I want to thank you for having this program. last time my question was addressed about add and should my kid take medication. It helped us a lot. since then i sent my child to chemed and to a psychiatrist.

For all you naysayers it really helped me. please dont bash it. There might be other people who just need a place to ask a question and not pay for therapy
Thank you TLS for hosting this program
Thank Your Mordechai for taking my question

    A parent with a solution

  4. My daughter in law came to our house for shabbos. we have a grandson that is very wild. we dont know how to deal with him. my daughter in law hit him several times to control him. I have never hit my kids. should I tell her anything? is it permitted to hit?

    A concerned grandmother

  5. My daughter is not in school yet. my husband is calm. the askonim said they are working on it. I am a wreck. every letter that arrives i run to see if its an acceptance letter. what can i do to stay relaxed? its starting to ruin my life.
    A nervous person

  6. Does stuttering have to deal with stress? does someone need an emotional therapist with a speech therapist if they stutter?

    Thank you a stutterer

  7. I have a daughter who has always been a “neat freak.” She loves cleaning the house since she was little. Last year, she got married and lives closeby. We love when she comes, yet every time she comes she first comments how messy it is and that we dont know how to keep a neat house and starts firmly telling everyone to clean and begins cleaning herself. ( mind you, we have a cleaning lady for few hours a day and our hhouse is regularly spic and span)
COming for shabbos is not even exciting for us anymore as all Shabbos long all we hear about how messy it is and she starts cleaning up! This is really ruining our views about her as she is now sometimes seen as a burden when she comes- because nothing can be out and all the kids must be perfectly neat! She now has a child and my husband and I are ver nervous about his future… his play life and beyond… everything has to be perfect….
Should I be concerned about OCD? Or is this just what a “neat freak” is? Please please answer. I am so concerned
    Thanks. Concerned mother.

  8. I get a panic attack when i cross the verazano bridge. what can i do to feel calm and safe when i cross over it. now i think hashem is in charge. over and over the whole time. i know its good to think that. its just that i cant talk to anyone. i would drive an extra hour or not go anywhere just to avoid the bridge

  9. i love the work i do (office) and always available to work overtime and after hours etc.. (for pay) my manager is very happy with me. how can i make a boundary when i enjoy working so so much?

    thank you!!
(we’d love to see harav nissan on the webcam too)
