LCSW on the Lookout for Man Allegedly Attempting to Lure Children with Candy

The Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch this evening is on the lookout for a man who allegedly attempted to lure children into his vehicle in the Westgate community.

Shortly after 8 p.m., a parent phoned the civilian watch group saying his child was offered a lollypop by a driver who motioned to the child to come into his vehicle, a coordinator told TLS.

The driver was described as a black male, driving a black van.

Anyone with information is asked to phone LCSW at 732-367-1212. [TLS-24 A/B]
