  1. There’s a message here. Last week two children. It seems like every day there is something . We need to clean up the driving in Lakewood. We can’t control Jackson , Toms River , Brick , etc. But we can do a better job of cleaning up our “driving ” act . Let’s hope that this person pulls through OK.

  2. I drove by cedar bridge at around that time and saw the police activity. from what i was able to see the accident was in the middle of the block; which means the pedestrian crossed in the middle of nowhere! it is very dark in that area, the speed limit is 40 mph, and it is a very heavy traffic area, so i ask,if i may, what was he thinking? i am sorry but this is not the drivers fault! Are drivers supposed to be constantly looking out for pedestrians stepping out in the street wherever and whenever they feel like it? Not drivers are meant to watch for pedestrians…pedestrians need to learn the laws of the road, i.e. roads are for cars last i checked!! Hope the victim has a speedy recovery btw!

  3. I didn’t witness the accident, but I was on the scene as soon as I saw the police lights and had time to walk to the road from Tent City.

I was with a group of other Tent City residents and volunteers. A police officer showed us the victim’s ID – a Latino male. I didn’t recognize the face nor the name.

Another Tent City resident said he vaguely recognized the face. The accident victim probably visited Tent City before, and might have been headed there that night, but he’s definitely NOT A RESIDENT OF TENT CITY.

  4. I think he was from Tent City but not on the census. Alex just doesnt want anthing negative online about tent city, so he is saying that he is not.

  5. This “Chris” seems to be a pathological liar who will not be swayed by overwhelming factual evidence that is repeatedly mounted against him. He also always refuses to back any of his claims with evidence.

He may be a disgruntled former Tent City resident, but he is far more likely to be a paid government stooge.
