#6 I think the township committee needs to hire more cops. The police force is at its all time low. There are 30 less cops today then there was 10 years ago

  • hay hay says:

    Hire more cops

  • More cops says:

I feel scared to walk the streets and don’t see alot of police patrol. Lakewoood need more cops to patrol to make us feel safe and deter crime

To all of Lakewood newcomers ,that area has been problematic for the past twenty five years nothing to be shocked about . Great job Lpd for reducing such incidents .

hey number 6 he is 24 get your story straight , thank you for the good news scoop

  • Allan says:

Can someone please explain. If there were 50 more cops on duty how would that have prevented this? Police can’t be all over all the time. Shootings like this need not worry us they are usually gang on gang shootings as long as they are not starting with us it’s not great but not that bad

  • yes sir says:

17 because since LPD have lost a lot of officers who retired, they are short staffed so hiring more could place an officer at high point for the whole shift.

  • @ Professor says:

What exactly do you mean by FAIR SHARE? Are you a Wallstreet occupier?

  • JOHNNYBEAR says:

if there were more cops in lkwd that community would be crying about police brutality
