PHOTO: The Lakewood Police Department responded the TD Bank located at 1601 Madison Avenue for a report of a robbery Friday evening at approx 7:55 pm.
Upon arrival Officers were advised that a white male entered the bank and filled out a deposit slip. The man then went up to a Teller and handed them a note instructing them to put money in to an envelope.
After complying with the instructions, the suspect fled the area on foot, in an unknown direction, with approximately $1,000.
The suspect (pictured above) is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, black hair with receding hairline, bushy eyebrows, thin build, wearing black sweatshirt, white t shirt, and grey sweat pants. He did not speak with an accent and his clothes appeared to be slightly weathered.

Bank tellers should be trained to tell these guys to jump in Lake, and not the other way around.

what they lose to thieves like this is peanuts. banks don’t care anymore about these kinds of hiests. the camera has the guy on video. the insurance pays back the minuscule amount they make of with and it isn’t a big deal. the big money is in the computer not In the register. not condoning this. of course we hope they catch and punish this guy soon. but the bottom line is that he stole a thousand bucks. they don’t put people behind bars for 20 years for that sort of thing unfortunately.
If he did not produce a weapon there was no crime and the tellers are the fools for giving him a gift, stop wasting police resources on “robberies” of this kind
He’s a poor person who stole money from the rich guys. And he dis it without using a gun or violence. So, what’s the problem? Democrats do it every day through taxing the rich people and giving it to the poor people. And they do it without violence. (well, there is the threat of violence – if you don’t pay your taxes, you will be whisked away by IRS agents in dark suits with guns, and thrown in jail)

small potatoes, camera has info for cops and fib, and its expensive to hire guys with guns woh. a td bank in my neighborhood got robbed and a manager chased him down and caught him. he was fired because it risks lives when you do things like that. doubt insurance is involved for 1000 bucks. ever hear of deductibles? guys with guns in banks often hit customers. thats why they don’t do it much anymore

Oh and btw your blame the liberals with ill founded and poorly drawn similes attitude is a foolish one to posses. Anyone with any brains knows that blindly blaming one faction over another with blanket statements is not a way to solve societies problems. Geshmakalypse, I have no doubt that society’s problems are too complex for you to deal with. Which is why you refuse to blame anyone or anything. And which is also why you accuse me of racism against Hispanics without any basis in fact.
My comment comparing the actions of this bank robber with the actions of democrats, both of whom take from the rich and give to the poor without firing a single shot, is actually quite brilliant. That you somehow use that comment to brand me a racist is childish, irrational, hateful, and totally misses the point.
Tellers must comply to the robbers. Unfortunately its what is requested by the corp. Its the safety of the employees that matter.
