PHOTO: Police Searching for Toms River Bank Robbery Suspect

PHOTOS: Police in the area are looking for a suspect who reportedly just robbed the Ocean First Bank on Route 70, as first reported on our News Alerts.

The suspect allegedly walked into the bank at about 12:05 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. Proceeds were placed in a manilla envelope.

The suspect is decribed as a skinny and clean shaven white male wearing a red hoodie and a khaki baseball cap.

An Ocean First Bank on Bannier Drive in Toms River was robbed on July 22. On July 29, the Sovereign Bank in Toms River was robbed.

  1. Handing a teller a note hardly can be called a robbery, im sure if the teller would have refused he would have went on his merry way, if he would have had a gun he would have shown it
