Lakewood Luring-Suspect Faces Mandatory Prison Sentence; Faces Up to 30 Years in Prison

The Registered Offender arrested earlier this week after trying to lure two teenage Lakewood girls into his vehicle is facing a mandatory prison sentence, and a long one too, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Spokesman Al Della Fave tells TLS.

Della Fave says the suspect, Nicholas Ravaioli, 29, will face the mandatory sentence due to his status as a previous Offender.

For each 2nd Degree Luring charge, says Della Fave, Ravaioli could face 10 years in prison, and for each Child Endangerment charge he could face 5 years.

Ravaioli, who attempted to lure 14 and 15 year old girls on Tuesday, made a First Appearance yesterday, and will be having an informal Bail Hearing with Judge Foster today, Della Fave says.

The suspect is lodged at the Ocean County Jail. [TLS]

  1. i hope the judge isn’t some bleeding heart liberal, and only incarcerates this dirt-bag in a “halfway-home” where they have total free roam of the place, and frequently escape/re-offend.

  2. take it easy guys!!
he’s prob gonna plea bargain and he’ll sit for five years. when he gets out he’ll have a restraining order on him not to come into lakewood

  3. a restraining order (law on paper) is going to stop him? yea… because the first few laws that were twice as punishable did so well with him….

i am hoping you are being sarcastic…

  4. Throw this monster in jail and throw away the key period. We do not need these predators walking free. I have an idea, when these animals are released from jail, lets just all put them on their own island and they can abuse each other. And not harm us…..

  5. A restraining order is not worth the paper it is written. Do you read the newspapers. How many people have had them, that are no longer here to tell their story.

  6. Comon guys you really can’t complain. True, he will one day be on the streets again. But if he gets a long prison term, at least it’s something to be happy with. At least for now we won’t be seeing him anytime soon. We hope.
And let’s hope he has a strict and good judge too.
