  1. Dead at 45? Cause of death unknown ? Well, lets see- it cant be freezing, cuz it wasnt. Cant be foul play cuz this is tent city we’re talkig about. Hmmmmm, this is a tough one. Please, TLS, let us know when they find out what was the cause of death. Thanx.

  2. People amaze me. This poor man needed help and we let him live out in the wilderness. Instead of bashing why aren’t we helping and praying for these people?

  3. Thanks for the advice, bev, but you are missing the point. These people don’t want help…there is plenty help offered to those who choose to live a clean life.

  4. To Bev, Judge Foster wanted everyone in hotel room housing until the case was decided, BUT Minister Steve REFUSED housing- so anyone who applied for housing from Tent City was refused it on the basis that they were under Steve’s care. If you don’t live in or haven’t lived in TC, maybe you should investigate the situation further, since almost everyone in TC wants housing . It was the Minister who jinxed us , and made our lives misery .Fortunately some of us had a way out and took it when we could.

  5. To bev
How many times do you think the township and others offered these people suitable housing only to have these people decline the help they were offered and try to hold out for something better???? Its their own fault that they remainsom there and the fault of that minister (& the liberal judge). Some of these people aren’t even from here & were expected to help them too.

  6. Bev! Please go over to Tent City and talk to the people there. Ask them nicely if they want to leave, ask them if they want to go to a place where they can kick their drug, alcohol problem and see what they will tell you.
Then please come back here and post again.

  7. Solution:

They should make it illegal to live there.
    2. Send all to proper shelters
    3. Get them a job

    Why should this be done?
    Cuz it wont!

  8. @ bev,

don’t worry we’re all praying for them, as you requested. Also, we elected Obama to help the poor people of Tent City. Why didn’t Obama do anything? He’s been prez for five years already, and NOTHING was done. He should be sued.

  9. As far as i understand, the only housing that was offered for tc were for a one year plan. Which if so was sure denied. Would you leave tc when you have housing for 1 Year only?

  10. #18. Jay – if I were offered one year of housing I would do everything I could in that year to get back to work- school, training, etc. You arent helping the people at Tent City when you make excuses for them to stay in that wretched place.
