A young Lakewood couple was involved in a serious accident on their way back from Montreal, Canada, this morning, TLS has learned.
The accident occurred near Albany during the early morning hours when the vehicle they were traveling in reportedly skid on a patch of black ice, crashing the vehicle.
Sources say both the husband and wife were immediately transported to an Albany hospital, and the wife was later transported to Columbia Hospital with serious injuries. She is reportedly in stable condition.
The husband, the driver, only suffered minor injuries.
