PHOTO: The Lakewood Fire Department is requesting assistance from the State Forest Fire units for battling a brush fire in Industrial Park, officials say.
The Lakewood Fire Department as well as State Police received numerous calls regarding the fire reported in the area of Airport Road and Energy Way.
Smoke and flames are visible from the Garden State Parkway, officials say, and a heavy smell of smoke is being reported in the area of Route 70 and Airport Road. [TLS-46/TLS-28/118/108]

Nothing to do with tent city. Along the power lines south of the cogen. 1-2 acres of forest burned.
It gave the location in the article ANON. How do you not know this is not related to tent city. Don’t even comment on tent city since you must not know where it is given the location in the article. There may be a squatter there but not the tent city location.
Any brush fire in town can be linked to tent city in some way I’m sure.

Brush fires are caused by dry ground and leaves. Maybe someone that works, goes to school, or was passing through, threw a lite cigarette! THat’s one of the most common causes.
