Dear fellow Lakewooders‎. I don’t love voting. Life is busy, I’m not into politics, and the list goes on. I do it anyway but often without much interest.‎

But I want to share with you why I want to vote today. Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno is a fabulous woman and will do whatever she can to help us all on a personal level.

She’s not just a talker… She publicy gives out her direct contact info and let me tell you – I have used it.

I’d rather not get into to much detail but she has helped me reach agency departments that had ignored my calls, she had govt staff reach out to me on more than one occasion in response to my requests and cut through frustrating unneccessary barriers.

I recently contacted her and within the hour received a call back from one of her staff members that she was away for a small break but that she had called her immediately upon receiving my message to make sure that my needs were addressed and the issue be resolved quickly. And sure enough I had my case being worked on at lightning speed.

This is a person who cares about her constituents. I’m sure her running mates do wonderful things as well but today I am going to vote out of hakaras hatov to a person that not only wants to help but goes out of her way to help us personally.
