UPDATED: Hundreds of law enforcement personnel converged on the Garden State Mall in Paramaus in New Jersey after a shooter reportedly armed in tactical gear entered the mall and began shooting.
Hundreds of people in the mall scattered to find cover in every nook and cranny throughout the mall – including in storage rooms and bathrooms.
There are reports of multiple people injured, though the it’s still unclear, as the scene is chaotic at this time.
SWAT teams from NJSP, Bergen and Paramaus Police are on scene in search for the gunman, who is reportedly wearing all black and wearing a motorcycle helmet.
Police are going from store to store trying to free civilians.
Images emerging from the scene show frightened shoppers running from the doors – greeted by loved ones.
There are reports of Frum resident samong those trapped as well. Hundreds could still be in the mall.
UPDATE: 11:45 PM: UPDATE: Police are searching every inch of the mall – which is reportedly over 2 million square feet. There could still be thousands of people trapped inside, officials say.
Officials are also now saying that so far only one shot has been confirmed as coming from the shooter, and there are reportedly no shooting injuries at this time.
UPDATE 5:45 AM. The shooter, identified as 20 year-old Richard Shoop, has been found dead inside the mall with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials say.

Before anyone starts using this story to try your gun control garbage, please answer my question I posted the other day on the story of the 14 yr old arrested for brandishing a knife…… Why isn’t anyone calling for more knife control?

first of all keep in mind that when you hear of one of these incidents all reports during the first120 minutes will be wrong.
Secondly, in a nation of 320 million people and 300 million estimated firearms it’s remarkable that scenarios of this type don’t occur many times daily

we need to strengthen gun control its proven the more we strengthen it the crazier the shootings are getting but don’t worry with the gun control the manufacturers are not making less guns just people who follow laws don’t buy them so they are available to those who buy them because they want to go human hunting

Well though I agree with theory of gun rights to protect the citizens from tyranny these days the might be tyrants are very well armed and would overwhelm the Minutemen, if you will in short order…”Being that a well regulated militia is…” None the less, I support gun rights because I’m a Constitionalist.
