PHOTOS: A fire which broke out in a kitchen left a home severely damaged this evening. The fire broke out in the Tamarind Road home about 6:15 PM, after an appliance reportedly ignited.
Flames and thick smoke were visible upon the arrival of the first responders and called for a general alarm, while checking the home for any occupants.
Dozens of firefighters and emergency personnel from EMS and Lakewood First Aid responded to the scene – including mutual aid from Brick.
The fire was brought under control about 5- 10 minutes later, but the home suffered serious damage.
Nobody was injured.
The Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate. [TLS]
While fighting this fire there was a call for a fire near the parkway.
Prob was the CO Gen Plant Steam that is what someone saw or someplace in brick near the parkway
