Authorities Investigating Stabbing, Robbery

stabbing[UPDATED SUNDAY 12:25 PM] A person was stabbed this evening in an apparent robbery, TLS has learned.

LCSW Coordinators tell TLS they received the initial call shortly after 9 PM from a woman who said a bloodied man walked up to her car window while she sat in her car off New Hampshire Avenue, but she was unsure of what was going on. The dispatcher immediately told the woman to phone Police.

“Upon arrival, they learned that two males approached a vehicle that was occupied by a male and female,” says Detective Sergeant Greg Staffordsmith. “The suspects, described as one black male and one Hispanic male, reportedly robbed them of their cell phones and money before stabbing the male victim serval times.”

The suspects then fled on foot.

The victim, a Hispanic male, was transported to JSMUC in serious, but stable condition.

stabbing 2A pool of blood could be seen in middle of the road, which was shut down as authorities combed the area for clues.

Frum neighbors who learned of the stabbing and robbery, were shocked.

K9 and CIU were called in to investigate, but were unsuccessful in tracking the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Rob Humeny at 732-363-0200. [TLS]

  1. This happened in the New Hampshire/Albert area. The block is pitch dark at night because of burnt out street lights. JCP&L, get out there and get those lights back on so the streets can become safe again.

  2. Arm up america! Its the only solution right now. If every thug would even have a doubt that his victim may have a weapon he would never start up with him. As we know these thieves are mostly cowards.

  3. This is really getting to be way to much…COMMON SENSE IS TO CALL 911. The POLICE…The LCSW is here to assist the police, they do a great job, but, they are NOT police officers. By calling them, you not only wasted time by explaining the whole story and them telling you to call the police, but you also put them at risk. Someone is going to get badly hurt of even killed one day. Is that what it’s going to take to use COMMON SENSE??? 911 for an EMERGENCY!!!!!

  4. well gey rid of the pharmaceutical industry in the naibroughhood and cowards wouldn’t be desperate for a few $ in some purse the cops know about the pharmaceutical business bbecause when you call them you just say the block and they know what house all they do is drive the new chargers

  5. What happened to calling police?!! Sounds like people are afraid of police because they are not from the community? Not picking on anyone but it just seems like they call LCSW first for everything.

  6. There are always these boyish comments when these things happen that if only the victim had a gun. Pulling a gun out and shooting someone is not as simple as the video games these commentators play

  7. My guess is, it was dark, the woman couldn’t see the blood, the victim was acting erratic, and the woman suspected he was drugged or drunk, and didn’t realize a crime had taken place to call the police.

    – you see someone acting erratic.
    – you see blood
    – you are scared and want help
= so you called in neighborhood watch?????

when will the LCSW coordinators and the police chief address this debacle? someone is going to get killed one day awaiting help, because the fire/police/emt’s are not called RIGHT AWAY, FIRST THING!!!
