A Meis Mitzvah will be taking place in Lakewood this evening for Mathew Siverberg Z”L, a Frum man from Aberdeen. NJ. Mathew Z”L (whose Jewish name is unknown at this time) was found dead in his home by the Rav of his Shul, who came to check up on him when he failed to come to Shul.
With no family, the Niftar was brought to Lakewood for Kvurah.
The Kvurah will be taking place at the 7th Street Chapel cemetery, at 9 PM.

Going to try and go. If his not coming to Shul went noticed one can imagine that he never missed going to Shul. Says something about the niftar.

At the Leveya they said he his Hebrew name was Mayer Zev.
I sat next to him in the shul in Aberdeen. The man knew Rambams Baal Peh > and was a big Talmud Chchom. Always with a smile!
He should be a Mailitz Yoshar for all of Klal Yisroel .
Thank you so much. R’ Silverberg was an active member of our shul, read from the Torah frequently etc.. It says a lot about the Lakewood community also that so many showed up for a Kevurah Meis Mitzvah.

the niftar was layed right next to the yngerman from west gate which past away a few weeks ago in the old chelka .both talmeide chacahmim
He was a huge bal chesid. He knew TOrah shel ba peh, Torah kuloh and if he did not know the answer to something he would ask to the next person who would ask him the answer to that question he would know. We are all going to miss this man. 12
I am the sole surviving first cousin of Matthew (Meir Zalman z”l ) Silverberg .I would like someone to let me know if I could get his tefillin or any family pictures in the apt. Thank you if anyone knows about this.
