UPDATED: Police are investigating after a man says his vehicle was stolen at knife-point moments ago, TLS has learned. The victim tells police two men – one armed with a knife – forced him from his vehicle at knife-point, and then fled with his vehicle.
Sources tell TLS the victim appears to have been operating a taxi service and was called by the suspects to the area of Princewood Avenue at about 8 PM. Once arriving to the suspects’ location, a knife was pulled on the victim, forcing out of the vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a 2004 blue Chevy Venture.
Suspect information is not yet available.
Police are notifying neighboring Townships of the incident.
UPDATE 8:40 PM. Sources say the vehicle has been found abandoned several blocks from the scene. The suspects are still on the loose.
