Oorah has announced that they will not be allowing anyone under the age of 21 to attend this year’s Purim Seuda without an entry pass, TLS has learned.
“Unfortunately we can no longer keep our doors open to the public due to many young people coming for the wrong reasons,” Oorah wrote.
Those under the age of 21 wishing to attend will be required to request an entry pass, unless accompanied by a parent.
“This policy will be strictly enforced,” Oorah said.
Requests for an entry pass can be emailed to [email protected].

About time someone in this town is taking responsibility for there Purim party.
Sadly, Oorah is, once again, 1000% right to introduce & enforce this rule. I was there in the past & u have no idea the rif raf that party attracts. The truth is, all other parties are over by 10:00 so they have no where to go. Yeshiva is not an option for them. Maybe I should make a party at my house. My neighbors wont mind.
Great decision Oorah! I hope other organizations follow your lead through the entire year. Step in right direction.
Well done Oorah.
Oorah rocks.
seudah.org email doesn’t work
wheres the party?
great idea! oorahs right foot forward! their seuda and party is always beautiful, but of course, it will be more beautiful now…
Now we need check points !
What’s Oorah? And why are they being commended for not doing wrong? It’s like somone posting that this year he does not plan on stealing and everyone compliments him. Sounds weird to me
tzvi twin, which country do u live in!?! who never heard of oorah???
Can’t any kid get a pass, by submitting a request via email?
Tzvi Twin – It’s called Teshuva which is very commendable!
