PHOTOS: The strong winds overnight caused severe damage and power outages in the area. One particular resident tells TLS he woke up at 5 a.m. to the howling winds and crack of trees. He then found his vehicle destroyed.
But luckily it was only his car.
“Baruch Hashem nobody was hurt,” the resident said.
He added, “I really wanted to just give a shout out and thank you to the Lakewood Public works Tree Crew for coming out early morning and removing the tree blocking the road,” the resident told TLS. “It allowed all my neighbors to get to shul this morning, as this street is a cul de sac.” [TLS]
Wow miracles that no one got hit by a tree! I was outside dancing in the cold by myself when i was waiting by a traffic light to cross the street and i was very scared about branches falling!
