Open House to Hire 20 Lakewood Youths to Take Place Tonight

sgAn open house event which seeks to employ 20 qualified, promising, and talented young men, will be taking place this evening. The hiring opportunity is being coordinated by Rabbi Simcha Greenwald, who is seeking to place young men no longer in Yeshiva into a hybrid ‘Learn and Work’ Environment. The opportunity seeks to employ the young men who have recently left Yeshiva, for the period of Pesach until after the Summer.

Rabbi Greenwald, Director of Teen Center Programs and Servicing of America, plans on coordinating the program which will train young men in quality market research and pay them for their work.

Strict adherence to a schedule which starts with Shachris and leads into a one-hour morning seder under his direction will be a prerequisite for employment. Seder will be followed by six hours of employment that will involve several elements of research for a specific segment of commercial real estate.

With renowned corporate training coach Adam Lieberman on board to help them enter and succeed in the business world, the setup is ideal for the type of boy who is looking for structure and success.

“This is extremely valuable for so many families in so many ways,” said Mr. Lieberman in a recent interview. “Giving these young men the resources they need will train them for a life-long career and allow them to reach their fullest potential. Keeping them in line with the values they have been taught at home and in Yeshiva, while teaching essentials such as team building and general business skills – all the while paying them – is an opportunity which doesn’t come along very often.”

The facilities will house a state-of-the-art Bais Medrash and gym, which will allow the boys to blend work, learning, and play in a kosher and healthy environment.

The open house event will take place at 9 PM.

  1. Wow!! Shkoyach R’ Simcha for this valuable service for the youth of Ireinu. However, being that only 1 (one) yeshiva has an English dept., I’ve no idea how ur gonna find boys ready to enter the business or marketing world.

  2. I’m not a person w a negitive outlook , but I pray that this won’t encourage boys who are IN the system that its not soo bad to leave yeshiva, that their is another option….

  3. Well it’s people with your outlook that are causing the guys who want to leave yeshiva to go off the D. People equate a boy leaving yeshiva to being mechael שבת. It time that all should realize that not everyone is cut out to learn full time and taking a job and staying a בן תורה is a very respectable thing to do as has been for 1000s of years.

  4. I know quite a few very fine girls who want to marry frum working boys. Not every girl wants to have to support her husband in kollel. By the way, it takes two incomes these days just to get by in many families. I think this is a wonderful opportunity for young men who want to work and be in a frum environment.
